The passing of summer affects anyone, and of course our hair. As we have already commented in other articles on this blog, which talked about how the sun affected our hair, summer takes its toll on our hair due to the large number of external factors to which we continually subject it.
The most common consequences include:
- Increased hair dryness
- Hair is weaker and brittle
- Breaks more easily
- Your scalp itches and also becomes dry
All this is caused by the mistreatment that our hair suffers during the summer with sea water, pool water, chlorine or the sun, completely neglecting hair health.
At the Dr. Panno Hair Transplant Clinic we offer you solutions to restore the good condition of your hair, among which one of our star treatments stands out: hair rehydration therapy.
What is capillary rehydration therapy
Capillary rehydration therapy is a mesotherapy-type treatment, exclusive to the Dr. Panno Hair Transplant Clinic, which consists of applying, through small injections, a cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, some dose of medication – in case you also need to treat the hair loss – and unbranched hyaluronic acid. The latter is the most important injectable element.
Through this therapy it is possible to hydrate the hair from the root, thus increasing its caliber and generating a greater volume. In addition, to increase its effectiveness, this therapy can be combined with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or with respective mesotherapies.
According to its protocols of use, capillary rehydration therapy can be applied in the following ways:
- carry out a session in each of the summer months, in case our hair is exposed to the effects mentioned at the beginning of the article
- carry out a couple of sessions before the summer and another two sessions at the end of the summer to cover and repair the damage caused during these months
Thus, the purpose of applying hair rehydration therapy after the summer is to recover the hair from dehydration or mistreatment to which it has been subjected in summer.
